Pierce Capital Partners makes equity investments in government IT services contractors and software companies. Our professionals have experience in diverse operating situations and corporate finance, having collectively advised on and/or participated in over $10 billion of corporate transactions.
Pierce Capital Partners is funded by institutional investors and senior industry executives. We also maintain strong relationships with leading providers of middle market debt financing, allowing us to quickly complete transactions that may be difficult for sources other than professional investment companies to finance. With internal resources and access to third party financing sources, we are capable of responding quickly and closing promptly. In addition, our network of senior industry executives can help accelerate company growth through advice, assistance, and contacts, benefiting current owners and managers alike.
Our Partnership Philosophy
We value quality management teams and seek strong partnerships with existing management, and the alignment of economic interests among all parties. Management generally invests in the business with us and receives generous performance-based equity compensation as well.
We develop strong, trusting relationships with sellers in order to generate win-win outcomes. We seek to identify current and potential value and to fairly compensate owners, while respecting the confidentiality of all material and the sensitivity of the process, regardless of outcome.
Our Operating Roles
Following the initial acquisition, we work diligently with management to help transition the firm through the change in ownership. Our professionals also provide strategic and management expertise through participation as members of the board of directors. We strive for our constructive input without unnecessary investor oversight to differentiate us as a preferred financial partner for management teams seeking to accelerate value creation.
We seek investments in privately held businesses, and acquisitions of divisions or subsidiaries of larger enterprises. We will provide capital for acquisitions, internal expansion, recapitalization, or existing shareholder liquidity.
